Sensex-Nifty rise following strong global cues, Check earning opportunities

Mumbai: After the big fall on Friday, the stock market opened on the green mark on the first trading day of the week. The Sensex jumped nearly 80 points. But after a while, the Sensex fell by about 100 points and the Nifty also had a decline. But after a while the recovery was seen again in the market and the Sensex is trading at 57,770.02 with a gain of 242 points and the Nifty is trading at 17,021.65 with a gain of 76 points.

Power Grid, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra and HDFC Bank were trading with gains on the Sensex. On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank faced losses. In the previous session, the Sensex closed 398 points lower at 57,527, while the Nifty closed 132 points lower at 16,945.

Foreign markets-
The American markets closed with gains on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 132.28 points, or 0.41%, at 32,237.53, the S&P 500 was up 22.27 points, or 0.56%, at 3,970.99 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 36.56 points, or 0.31%, at 11,823.96.
