Air India Express Launches Pune-Mangalore Direct Flights
Air India Express is expanding its regional connectivity by introducing direct flights between Pune and Mangalore starting January 4, 2025. The service will operate on Saturdays with two convenient flight options each way.

The schedule offers morning and evening departures from both cities. From Pune, flights will depart at 9:55 AM and 8:35 PM, reaching Mangalore at 11:40 AM and 10:05 PM respectively. The return flights from Mangalore will leave at 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM, arriving in Pune at 9:25 AM and 8:00 PM.
This route launch follows the airline’s recent expansion into international territory with its Pune-Bangkok service, which began on December 21, 2024. The Bangkok route operates three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with morning departures from Pune at 8:40 AM and afternoon returns from Bangkok at 3:35 PM.
Air India Express’ network from Pune now encompasses over 90 weekly flights connecting to ten domestic destinations: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mangalore, plus international service to Bangkok. This expansion aims to strengthen regional connectivity while fostering business and cultural ties between the cities.
