Jammu-Kashmir Pune Tourists: Tourists are vacating Jammu and Kashmir after recent Pahalgam attack. Many have returned while many are still stranded waiting for their safe return. Recent data says a huge number of people from Pune have also gone to Jammu and Kashmir for summer holidays. Out of the approximately 650 tourists from Pune who were stranded in Jammu and Kashmir after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, nearly 546 tourists will arrive in Pune by Tuesday (29th). These tourists are in addition to the tourists who were arranged by the state government by flight, most of them will come to Pune by themselves by flight, train and private car. 657 tourists from Pune district had informed through District Administration helpline number after Pahalgam Terror Attack. Accordingly, the District Administration sent these details to state government. The state government had arranged special flights to bring back tourists from across the state.
Of these, 238 tourists returned to Pune by air on Thursday (24th). While 83 by air and 22 by rail on Thursday (25th). A total of 105 tourists have returned home. According to the information given by the district administration, on Saturday (26th), 44 tourists will return by air, 51 by rail, a total of 95 people, while 90 people will return to Pune on Sunday (27th), 11 by air, 39 by rail, and 40 by private vehicle.
One person will return by air on Monday (28th), and on Tuesday (29th), 8 by air and 9 by rail. A total of 546 tourists from the district will return by Tuesday. The district administration is in constant contact with all these tourists.
