Kalyan Minor Rape & Murder Case: A shocking incident of a 13-year-old girl being kidnapped, sexually assaulted and murdered in Kalyan East area had come to light a few days ago. On the day of the incident, the victim had gone to nearby shop to purchase some food. Accused Vishal Gawli kidnapped the victim at that time. He then sexually tortured and brutally murdered her. Now, the recent information is coming out that the accused committed suicide inside the jail. The police had arrested Vishal Gawli in this case. Since then, he was lodged in jail. As per police record, previously, he had raped many other women.
It has been reported that he committed suicide at around 3:30 am on Sunday morning. Initial information revealed that he committed suicide by hanging himself with a towel in the jail bathroom. After the suicide, Vishal Gawli’s body has been taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai for autopsy.
The jail police have taken cognizance of the incident. A judicial inquiry will now be conducted into Vishal Gawli’s suicide. When accused Vishal Gawli raped and murdered a schoolgirl, his wife helped dispose of the body. The police had also arrested Vishal Gawli’s wife in this case.
