Why do earthquakes occur frequently?
There are seven tectonic plates inside the earth. These plates keep rotating continuously. When these plates collide with each other, rub against each other, climb over each other or move away from each other, the ground starts shaking. This is called an earthquake. The Richter scale is used to measure earthquakes. Which is called the Richter magnitude scale.
