Panchgani Dance Bar Raid: The police conducted a raid on a hotel in Panchgani, near Satara, and arrested 21 people, including the hotel owner, for organizing obscene dance performances.
A police official said that a tip-off led to the raid on the Hirabagh hotel, where women were allegedly involved in immoral activities. Approximately 12 women, dressed in revealing clothes under the guise of singers and waitresses, were performing obscene dances in front of around 20 customers.

An FIR has been registered under the Indian Penal Code, the Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurants and Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women Act, 2016, and relevant sections of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.
During the raid, the police seized musical instruments, mobile phones, and a car worth over 25 lakh rupees. Further investigations are underway to determine the source of the women involved in these activities. After counseling, the women will be handed over to their relatives. (Panchgani Dance Bar Raid)
