Mumbai : Potential Ministerial Lineup : Devendra Fadnavis, leader of the BJP legislative party, will be sworn in as the new CM of Maharashtra. The swearing-in will take place on Thursday evening in a grand ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be the third time that the 54-year-old Nagpur legislator Fadnavis will take the oath as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Azad Maidan in South Mumbai, where extensive security arrangements have been made. After the Maharashtra Assembly elections on November 20 and the results being announced on November 23, intensive negotiations continued for nearly two weeks, and today a government will be formed under Fadnavis’s leadership.
