Pune: The ongoing construction of the Tata Metro project on Ganeshkhind Road has necessitated temporary traffic changes to ensure smooth and safe vehicular movement. These changes, implemented by the Pune Traffic Police, will be in effect until further notice.

Key Traffic Restrictions:

Ganeshkhind Road:
– Only two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers are allowed to enter Pune University junction from Bremen Chowk.
– Goods vehicles, PMPML buses, and luxury buses are restricted from entering this area.
– Traffic from Pune University junction towards Range Hills will be diverted.
– Vehicles must take alternative routes via Symphony Circle and Crime Branch Unit 4.

College of Engineering Pune (COEP):
– Access from Simla Office junction to the COEP Hostel via S. G. Barve junction will be restricted.
– Vehicles should take a right turn at Shimla Office junction and proceed via Sancheti Hospital.

Sancheti Underpass:
– The underpass will be closed to all vehicles from 10 pm to 7 am.
– Commuters must use alternative routes during these hours.

Pune-Mumbai Highway:
– Vehicles will not be allowed to enter Range Hills via the Poultry Farm underpass.
– Commuters should take the Pune-Mumbai Highway to Saee junction via the Railway Underpass near Khadki Police Station.

The Pune Traffic Police urges all residents and commuters to:
– Follow the revised traffic routes.
– Adhere to traffic regulations.
